10:My experience in this year

Hello, I’m Thomas and this is my final post about my experience in this year: 2018.

Well, this year have not easy, I had to study a lot in the first term. Sometimes I didn’t sleep to much because I had to make a homework or study for a test. I remembered I had a subject that was hard for me. It was technics of laboratory, in this test you have to study a lot of contents and I didn’t have good marks. However, I could to pass this subject and I feel happy.

In other hand, the other subjects were easier than technics of laboratory, and in the end, I got to pass all my subjects and I don’t have to make an exam to know if I pass the subjects.

The last month was very intensive because of paralyzation of faculty. This activity had a long duration and some teachers were vengeful with the classmates.

However, I met beautiful people and nice friends in university, and I met a person very important for me, my girlfriend, she passed all subjects too. She is the most beautiful thing that have happened to me.

I hope to have the same results in the next term because I want to continue in the career and faculty.

8: My favorite Subject

First, I want to apologize for delay. I forgot to write this post in the delivery date.

Well, my favorite subject this term was General Chemistry I, because I love Chemistry. I think it’s the most important subject in the career because it’s the pillar of pharmacy. You must know the nomenclature and structure of medicaments, and how they work in your body; how to prepare a solution and make calculus for this. In classes we learn about solutions, reactions, nomenclature, orbital molecules, Lewis structure, Energy, redox and more things about chemistry.

In general, I pay attention and I don’t use to write down much. Sometimes I talk to my friends and girlfriend when the teacher wants to explain something. The contents aren’t hard. They look like the contents of PSU. In general, we always have test in Friday, and before test, the teaching assistant help us with the contents. I always learn in this classes.

When I have an exam, I use to study with my girlfriend because she is cool and can explain all of things. I admire her too much.

9:Pets

Hello everyone, today I'm going to talk about pets.

I have a pet called Ron, he is a dog and it is very funny, he makes a nice company…. But what kind of pets have I had?

I remember when I was 4 years old, I had 4 frogs, yes frogs, I founded these animals in “Termas del Flaco” , the frogs were lost two weeks after ….

When I was 9 years old I had a dog called Dixie. Every Sunday we went to Cerro San Cristobal with my family and she got lost there. L In 2011 I received a gift, it was a box, into the box there was Ron … Ron is with me until today.

I have never had a cat, because I don't like them. 
One day I went to “Cajón del Maipo” with my family, this place was beautiful and when we were walking ,we found a big spider and we put the spider in a glass. Then we did a terrarium and put the spider into there with soil. The spider was called Rocky, I never touched the spider, She would ate worms and flies, A few months later we released the spider in the forest because we didn't have food for her.  

7:Werner Heisenberg

When I was 14 years old, I was studying the particles and your proprieties, I remember that I used wavelengths and frequencies to calculate the energy of the particles.

So today I will talk about Werner Heisenberg, the person that discovered this formulas.

Werner Heisenberg was born on 5^th December of 1901, he was German. He went to university of Munich to study physics. Heisenberg's name will always be associated with his theory of quantum mechanics, published in 1925, when he was only 23 years old.

 His new theory was based only on what can be observed, that is to say, on the radiation emitted by the atom. The applications of it resulted important especially in the discovery of allotropic forms of hydrogen, Heisenberg was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics for 1932. Later Heisenberg stated his famous "principle of uncertainty", which lays that determination of the position and velocity of the particle cannot be determinate at the same time.

I really like his theory because it was a big progress for the science which is precisely what I am studying.

6:Food

Hi everyone, today I will talk about food

The food is very important to survive, in my opinion I don’t like to eat too much food, however I think food is like a combustible for the body.

I eat very fast, all my family eats fast, I always finished to eat in the last place, but when I eat with friends, girlfriend or other person out my family, I finish first, it’s crazy, I know.

I don’t have favorite food, when I was a child I was very tricky with the food, but today I eat the enough. There are many things that I haven't eaten, like sushi, however the last week was my first time, I ate sushi, it was with my girlfriend, and it’s not the best or worst food, it’s normal, nothing out of the world.

I don’t like junk food, I think that is very dangerous for the health, fortunately I like both vegetables and fruits ... I love the lemon.

5:My favorite picture

Hi, today I’ll talk about my favorite picture.

This picture was taken by me in 2018, around 2 months ago. She is my girlfriend and we had a nice day, and unforgettable. I like because we are happy and the happiness makes a greats moments worthy for a photo. Also represents the love for me , so love with happiness is a good combination , and this is the principal reason that I choosed this photo.

I remember that the photo was much improvised, nothing prepared… shows us in the subway, we are sit in the floor and she is kissing my cheek. I can feel her affection for me until today.

I uploaded the picture in Instagram in June to share my best moments to my friends. If you follow me probably you already saw the photo.

 I know that the foto was not taken long ago, however the photo is very important for me.

4:My favorite movie

Hi, I don’t see movies frequently but I will talk about of my favorite movie.

 My favorite movie is “Good Will Hunting”, the reason why I like this movie is because it has a many meanings of life or different forms to see the world, and makes me think a lot …and ask myself: What is the use of being a genius? or What is the use of being a rich?, I don’t want talk about the plot of the film, you should see the film at the weekend.

Another reason is because my friend that is studying cinema recommended it to me, and he knows that I don´t see films, by the way he recommended this film. If I choose a kind of movie, I prefer movies about the science and philosophy, I like to think when I see movies.

I don’t remember the last movie that I saw, probably I didn’t like it, so I don’t recommend anything. I haven’t seen a movie for a long time.

3:My favorite piece of technology

Usual PC (it's not mine)

I have to talk about my favorite piece of technology. It’s a hard choice because we are using the technology all time, for example when someone wants to see what time is it, cellphone can help to see them, also to make calls and send messages. Right now I am using a PC to write my English homework. So my favorite piece of technology is PC, when I was a child I had a pc in my house, I was playing with my brother some games like pinball or buscaminas, but I didn´t use them very often until 12 years old. When I was 12 years old I used pc frequently because I had video calls with my friends of the school in skype, and it was very funny but I don’t depend of them. I’m really like the pc because I can study, play, learn, connect with friends or family, listen music, etc. I can’t imagine my life if I don’t have pc because it’s a routine every day, but I suppose that my life would be normal , I can live without any technology. When I was 13 years old I didn´t have cellphone until 16 years old, 3 years without cellphone!... because I don’t like cellphone but today is necessary used them.

2:Why am I studying pharmacy?

When I was a child I loved see the stars in the sky, I was very observant, and read a lot of astronomy’s books. One day my mum bought a telescope, but I didn’t see anything L.I was 4 years old and I knew all the planets of the solar system.

When I was 10 years old I liked to see tables, like table of flags, and I learned around 200 flags, almost all flags that does exist. It’s crazy I know. Then between table and table, I found the periodic table, I was really fascinated with this, I liked chemistry when didn’t know that it was chemistry.

So, I didn’t know what study, but I knew that it was with chemistry, my options were: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmacy, Industrial Chemistry.

When I finished my School Age, I was decided to study Biochemistry, but at the moment of postulations I thought in my employment situation in the future, and changed my postulation , and chose Pharmacy. The University has been a good experience, I’m enjoying a lot, good friends, interesting subjects, and I have learned a lot.

It’s funny because I don’t like the pharmacy (a physical pharmacy), I like the application of pharmacy in the health, but in the future I would like work in investigation or some laboratory and progress the science.

1:Autobiography

Hi everyone, this is my autobiography:

I was born in Santiago, Chile in 2000, exactly in February 29^th, yes… I‘m 4 years old, because my birthday appears every 4 years, when 29^th isn’t, I celebrate my birthday every February 28^th.

I grew up with my family in La Granja until 2006, then we moved to Recoleta until today, in Recoleta also live my grandmother. Always I go to grandmother house’s to eat my lunch (she cooks very nice). I have a brother, he’s 25 years old and he has a son, therefore , I’m uncle.

I’m not studious, but anyway I have nice marks until today, I was never the best , but always I was stay in podium. I studied in Liceo de Aplicación and also Colegio Superior Cambridge, Last year I finished my School Age. Currently I´m study Chemistry and Pharmacy in Universidad de Chile.

When I have free time I like playing the guitar, piano , quena (It´s like a flute), or  play some game online with my friends, I like walking , every day  I walk too much , Last year I walked 1 hour every day, Also I love talk about interesting topics , like science , philosophy , But I hate gossip that people talk.

0:First Blog

In the university of Chile , we work with blogs and here is my first blog.

My expectations about blog sessions are that I can write the English perfectly, but I would like the teacher told us a specific topic because when he says “free topic”… I don´t know what topic choose. When I write something in English is difficult because I forgot some word or some phrasal verbs, also occurred when I speak this language, but I improvise because I should make that the other person understand me. When I’m listening or reading I understand and if I don’t know some word or verb I search in dictionary, though the phrasal verbs aren´t in this. So, I think that use the blog is very interesting because you can explain all that you think.
